CHEESE

If you're not concerned about packaging, visit the supermarket for more affordable options. You can also find Old Amsterdam cheese available there.

‪Henri Willig Cheese Farm Store
@anna_vi
A bit pricey, but the taste is excellent! Plus, you get a well-packaged product that ensures you'll have quality cheese when you get home. If you're looking for something special, try wine pearls to pair with your cheese. Alcohol is harmful to your health and should not be consumed by children or pregnant women.

Tulip bulbs

I would not recommend to buy bulbs there as they are often kept in poor conditions, and the flowers may never come out. Instead, purchase tulip bulbs at large garden stores like Intratuin.

IMPORTANT: Tulip bulbs are only available in these stores during their planting season, from September to November.

Dutch canal houses miniatures

Since 1952, white-blue houses have been presented to passengers on all KLM Intercontinental flights in business class. Each passenger receives one of these original Delft Blue miniature houses with a small bottle of the Bols Jenever. These miniatures are exact replicas of the houses on the canals of Amsterdam, and occasionally from other historical towns in the Netherlands.

You can find all these souvenir locations on the route I designed for experiencing a perfect day in Amsterdam.

Along this route, you'll discover must-visit spots (such as cheese in this list) as well as hidden places that you might otherwise miss without a special search (like Dopper water bottles in this list).

If you enjoyed this list, purchasing a 1 day in Amsterdam guide would be the best way for you to thank me.

Thank you! And don't forget your raincoat when traveling to the Netherlands OR it might just become the perfect souvenir!
