Homa at Kinship Landing

Only a few vegetarian options, but I keep going back for "the local" sandwich. Add on the side of shoestring fries and an ice tea - fantastic and filling lunch.

White Pie Pizzeria
@reegan
With two types of crusts to choose from, you really can't go wrong with White Pie. Try it out for brunch and enjoy a pizza with an egg on top! Also perfect for chilly evenings - try sitting outside near the firepit for an atmospheric dinner.

Stellina Pizza Cafe
@reegan
This is my go-to pizza place. It's not technically downtown - just outside it. But, it is a quintessential neighborhood bar/eatery. I typically order the rocket pizza and an appetizer of burrata. The on-tap cocktails are never a miss and you can end your evening with some delicious gelato.

COATI
@reegan
For dinner: Anju Korean is my go to. 80% of the meals can have cauliflower subbed in to make them vegetarian. It is a lot of food, so bring a friend to share! Drinks: After I order my food I like to head upstairs to Meso bar. It's usually a little less crowded and they always have some interesting seasonal cocktails. Unsure of what you want? Trust the bartenders and ask for a mystery drink.

Avenue 19
@reegan
This is another food hall downtown. Not everything is vegan/vegetarian friendly, but one of the restaurants is, completely. I eat at "The Joint" here - one of the absolutely best vegan restaurants I've been to. They gained immense popularity as a food truck and recently opened this brick and mortar location. Anything off of this menu will be amazing.

The Well
@reegan
A food hall with a philanthropic twist. They do rotate out vendors, but right now they have four solid options. My top choice is Formosa Bites: they have some of the best fried tofu I've ever had. Runner up: Sivar - offers both vegetarian and vegan options on their normal menu - just make sure to let them know you don't eat meat, just in case.

Mood Tapas Bar
@reegan
Go-to happy hour location. The discounts are decent for both food and beverages. And, trust me, order the arancini.

P74: The Downtown Paninos
@reegan
Has two main vegetarian options: Eggplant parmesan ( a little pricey, but very filling) Eggplant panino - now, this is not on the menu. Build your own panino and ask for the eggplant. This is one of my favorite sandwiches - the bread is fantastic.

Zocalo Colorado
@reegan
Solid vegetarian taco options ( my favorite is the panella mushroom) and the hibiscus agua frescs is the perfect compliment. The brunch options are also fantastic - including the tres leches french toast and any of their cocktails.

Fujiyama
@reegan
This place has a little extra when it comes to vegetarian sushi options. I always start with the agadasi tofu and the best sushi roll is the "deer but".

I always try to find local (vegetarian friendly) restaurants and interesting breweries/distilleries. My road trips typically involve visiting national parks, interesting destinations and some/all camping! If we have similar interests, please check out my guides.
