The South of France is often seen as an expensive trip, and while there are definitely many ways to spend your money, it doesn't have to break the budget. This guide will explain how to make the most of public transport to travel along the South coast of France.
Included are must see and do activities, along with alternatives for those on a budget. There will be accommodation options of hostels, hotels and even entire homes you can rent if in a bigger group.

You can start this trip by flying into any of these places. If you're coming from another place within Europe by train, consider checking out my Italian trainhopping guide of the North of Italy, linked below. This is also a great option if you want to extend your trip a little further.

Okay okay, I know this isn't France but it is one of the first stops if you're travelling from the direction of Italy, and truly is too stunning to not be included.
Doing Monte Carlo cheap is almost impossible which is why it's the perfect place to start.. whilst you still have money!

Hey everyone!
Having travelled 14 countries, and lived in 4, I discovered a love for planning trips for myself and others. I specialise in short trips for a weekend trip away, and multi-stop trips which ensure to explore some unique places and learn about the culture of the area being travelled. I understand wanting to go to the bucket-list places and get the classic photos as well as finding hidden gems to make your holiday special and ensure to make you the go-to person for secret holiday spots within your friends!
I am open to making personalised travel guides and also arranging consultation calls to better understand what you want to get out of your holiday.
