Hi! I'm Kimi, your Costa Rica expert! ☀️ I've been living in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for three years now, but I have been a repeat traveler to CR since 2016. My experiences have enabled me to create carefully crafted content inspired by local knowledge. ➡️ Living in Costa Rica has given me the opportunity to get to know Costa Rica's top destinations authentically. Before living in Guanacaste, I lived in Heredia, outside of San Jose, for 5 months. From Tamarindo to Puerto Jimenez, Monteverde to Uvita, Puerto Viejo to Playas del Coco, I've had the opportunity to travel to all different destinations and discover many hidden gems off the typical Costa Rica itinerary. As far as types of travel, I'm a big advocate of slow travel, but I have done many different kinds of travel within CR. I have planned or helped others plan backpacking, family, and girl trips to this beautiful country. Working as an international teacher has given me a different perspective in advising longer trips to Costa Rica. I've learned many tips and tricks for finding community, getting around without a car, leasing an apartment, learning Spanish, renting a vehicle, and surviving in the hot province of Guanacaste. It's very important to me, as a traveler, that I understand the cultural context of the country I am traveling to. My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and confident in Costa Rica, while respecting this country's unique norms and culture. My itineraries and guides are designed with all kinds of travelers in mind. From solo traveling to family trips, I've helped many people plan their dream vacation to Costa Rica. My goal is for you to experience Costa Rica at its most authentic, getting to know and interact with its unique culture and biodiversity.
