I was lucky to travel a lot as a kid, Soon I realized my passion for traveling and the need to travel regularly. My biggest wish was always to live somewhere by sea.⛱️ Later, I moved to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, and spent there 5 years. During my last year in the Czech Republic, I spent over 3 months living in the UK as well. After that I really wanted to finally create my dream reality and move somewhere sunny. So, I did! My mother says I’m an eternal dreamer. As soon as I can I take my backpack and go out to discover the world, I call myself a TRAVELLER not a tourist. The tourist makes a type of superficial tourism that stops at the appearance, I do not like tourist places , I think they do not represent the true essence of the trip. The traveller loves to know the habits and customs of the place to breathe the streets and the typical perfumes , to get lost among the smiles of the people of the place, to watch a sunset and to fall in love with it. The name was inspired by the term ‘Sonder’ which refers to the profound feeling of realizing that every passerby or person you meet, has a life as vivid or complex as ones own. As I wondered the streets of foreign countries on my travels I always imagined what my life would be like in a strangers shoes, this sparked various day dreams of wild and wonderful adventures as well as the acknowledgment of challenges and struggle in the context of the environment I was in. Since then I made it my mission to explore various ends of the earth and immerse myself in the culture, society and livelihood of each place I visited. A bit about me: I hold dual nationality of South Africa, Germany and United Kingdom. I was born and grew up in South Africa. I was blessed with the opportunity to travel from a very young age, spanning Europe, America and through university I ventured to Australia. I have since moved to the United Kingdom and lived here for almost a decade. Most of my time and earnings from my career as a Psychologist is spent jetting off all over the world as much as I can and at least 5 times a year.
