After several iterations and a lot of user feedback, we’re excited to announce the launch of a bundle of improvements to guides - all designed to enhance the experience for both creators and readers.

Improved Usability and Performance

More Beautiful. More Usable.

We've revamped the guide interface to make navigation and content consumption smoother and more intuitive. With less clutter and more breathing room, the simplified design focuses attention on the common tasks and actions.

Enhanced Performance

Our optimizations have resulted in faster load times, which not only improves user experience but also boosts organic search traffic which means more customers and readers finding your guides without you having to lift a finger.

A New Paywall Designed to Boost Conversion

To help you drive more sales we’ve made several improvements to paywalls.

Guide Previews

Now customers will be able to preview the first 8 blocks of your guide. (a block is chunk of text, an image, a link, a place, etc.) This gives potential subscribers a taste of your content, encouraging them to unlock the full guide.

More marketing info

To help customers make a purchase decision faster, we’ve improved the clarity and layout of the marketing information on the paywall as well as added a few things like and FAQ and an explainer video(coming soon)

Setting the Stage for Future Features

These updates lay the groundwork for even more exciting new features to come. The first of these exciting new features we’ve already launched with this release:

Every guide now has a Table of Contents

No more scrolling up and down long guides. Now you can jump to a specific section with the table of contents.

Automatically generated from your Header 1 and Header 2 text styles, the Table of Contents makes it easier for readers to navigate your guides. Each item in your table of contents is also a link you can copy, allowing you to share a specific section of a guide in social posts or with friends.

If you haven’t been using these H1 and H2s when building your guides, now’s the perfect time to start!
